LOOK at this #20340 Orange Stripe Set with Boxes from American Flyer! This set was made in 1957 only. This set comes with New Haven 497 Diesel Engine, the following passenger cars: 960, 961, 963 cars, 12 curved track, 4 straight track, 1 ½ B transformer, remote uncoupler and button, track power clip and envelope, instruction book. 4 original engine and passenger car boxes and  A Very Nice reproduction set box.
497 Engine – very good condition, all intact, serviced & lubed, runs great forward & reverse, lights up
960 Columbus Orange Stripe Baggage Car – good condition with some minor scratches, playwear, pitting, all intact, lights up
961 Jefferson Orange Stripe Passenger Car – good condition with minimal playwear & pitting, all intact. Lights up
963 Washington Orange Stripe Passenger Car – good condition with minimal playwear & pitting , all intact, lights up

all passenger car boxes have missing or torn flaps, one flap has 24795 NH stream line coach stamped, as these were original 5 digit boxes that had 3 digit cars as they were in 1957
Set box is reproduction with a label stamped 20340,box stamped  on one side-From A.C. GILBERT CO. New Haven Conn. Underside flap stamped BIN # B2N071,Interstate Box.This Set box is very solid with reproduction tape,close to perfect and this set fits in good.A nice solid box for your set!
Although these items have been bench tested and work, due to age these are being sold as serviced recommended, as used, as is, all sales final.
